A monthly schedule will be emailed .             

  Please check the Real Time Link on websites home page.  

Last  minute changes can be made. Unfortunately the skating club has no 

control over time changes; the arena reserves the right to change 

times even though ice is reserved  in advance. 

 

Information notices, bulletins, and time changes will also be emailed.

 Please check email often during the skating season.

 

The club also has a Facebook page. If you have a Facebook account  please join the group “Star of the North Skating Club”.    

 

The skating club has a bulletin board in the arena. It is located around

 the south corner of the front lobby concession stand. Handouts and 

notices are posted as needed and board member contact 

info can be found here too.    

 

Newspaper  The Grand Rapids Herald Review posts a weekly IRA Civic Center

 schedule which includes times reserved by the club. Please note that 

the club times encompass both  group and private lessons.    

 

Real People!  If anyone has a question or concern about anything there is usually 

someone around the rink during lessons that can provide an answer or 

knows someone who can help. Coaches and board members are good 

sources for information and can guide you in the right direction if

  they don’t know the answer to something.
